Recently, the 2026 Advanced Regulatory Training Programme for Overseas-Listed Chinese Companies, organised by The Hong Kong Chartered Governance Institute (HKCGI) and co-organised by CR SWCS, was successfully held at Runnovation in Hong Kong. Conducted in both in-person and virtual formats, the programme brought together corporate executives, board secretaries, and industry professionals to explore key topics including international expansion, corporate governance, and compliance practices for overseas-listed Chinese companies.

In his opening remarks, Dr. Maurice Ngai, Director and CEO of CR SWCS, highlighted the growing demand for cross-border development, overseas listings, and regulatory compliance as Hong Kong continues to align with China’s national development agenda and strengthen its position as a leading international financial centre. He reaffirmed CR SWCS’s commitment to leveraging its one-stop premium corporate services platform to provide comprehensive support in corporate governance, regulatory compliance, tax planning, and ongoing operational management.

During the programme, Dr. Ngai participated in a roundtable discussion, sharing insights on the evolving role of board secretaries, dual compliance requirements across jurisdictions, and digital governance transformation. He also encouraged governance professionals to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and integrity as guardians of corporate compliance.

In addition, Dr. Ngai delivered a dedicated session on corporate re-domiciliation to Hong Kong, offering practical insights into regulatory requirements, tax considerations, migration procedures, and ongoing compliance obligations. His presentation helped participants gain a deeper understanding of the opportunities available through Hong Kong’s robust financial and regulatory ecosystem.

Looking ahead, CR SWCS will continue to strengthen collaboration with industry partners and leverage its extensive expertise in overseas listings, corporate governance, and compliance services to support Chinese companies in achieving sustainable and high-quality international growth.
