Company Secretarial Assistant

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in handling full spectrum of company secretarial matters for both Hong Kong and offshore companies, listed (and/ or) private companies
  • Working experience in company secretarial practice under the Hong Kong new Companies Ordinance, Company Acts in the major offshore jurisdictions (and/ or) Listing Rules of Hong Kong Stock Exchange (“HKEx Listing Rules”)
  • Assist in handling various transactions under the HKEx Listing Rules and Securities & Futures Ordinance (“SFO”)
  • Assist in liaison with clients and managing a portfolio of clients – both listed and private companies independently
  • Assist in handling clients’ Due Diligence matters, share option scheme or trust administration matters

 

REQUIRMENTS

  • Degree-holder, preferably in corporate administration, law, accounting or company secretarial studies
  • Student member of HKICS / ICSA / HKICPA or equivalents
  • Working experience in professional firm, CPA firm, law firm or listed company is an advantage
  • Sound knowledge in Listing Rules of Hong Kong Stock Exchange and Securities & Futures Ordinance is an advantage
  • Fluency in both English and Chinese (including Putonghua) and good presentation skills
  • Able to work independently on daily correspondence and handling clients with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Possess multi-tasking ability, pleasant, detail-orientated, well-organised and strong sense of responsibility
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint and Chinese Words input

Sustainability and ESG service (Senior Consultant/ Consultant)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide support in the provision of full range of ESG services, inclusive of data collection, stakeholder engagement, conducting interviews, drafting of clients’ ESG/Sustainability reports and provide ESG/Sustainability consultancy services to clients.
  • Conduct sustainability and carbon management assessments for corporate ESG reporting, including data collection, analysis and verification.
  • Carry out carbon audit, etc.
  • Communicate and engage with clients mainly from HK and the PRC to obtain an understanding of business operations, processes and functions.
  • Conduct ESG/Sustainability research and participate in business development on ESG services including preparing proposals and conduct presentations.
  • Familiar with Chinese background clients.
  • Perform other ad hoc professional duties as required.

 

REQUIRMENTS

  • A degree holder in Environmental Science (sustainability, environmental engineering/ environment, climate science), Chemical Engineering, or similar related disciplines with a minimum of 2 years’ working experience and strong passion to develop a career in ESG & Sustainability reporting and consultancy including environmental assessment, climate change, carbon, waste and energy measurement and management and pollution control for large corporations preferably experience with HKEx / GRI reporting or ESG compliance work for listed companies.
  • Assist in client engagement, project management and implementation
  • Demonstrable knowledge in carbon accounting / verification and energy efficiency assessments and familiarity with prevailing international ESG standards;
  • Able to perform quantitative and qualitative analysis with research experience preferred;
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills including high proficiency in Putonghua and report writing in both English and Chinese;
  • Excellent computing skills including data analysis tools and familiar with Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Proactive, self-motivated, multi-tasking and strong leadership skills and work under tight deadlines;
  • Willing to travel
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Mandarin is essential; and
  • Immediate availability is preferred.

Accounting Officer (5-day work/ Part-time)

Key Responsibilities​

  • Handle company secretarial issues for both Hong Kong and offshore companies
  • Well-versed and experienced in all aspects of company secretarial practice under the Hong Kong – Companies Ordinance and the major offshore Companies Ordinances
  • Knowledge in Listing Rules of Hong Kong Stock Exchange and Securities & Futures Ordinance reporting requirement is an added advantage
  • Liaise with and manage a portfolio for clients – both listed and non-listed companies
  • Perform ad hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Degree-holder, preferably in business administration, legal studies, accounting or company secretarial studies
  • Associate member of HKICS / ICSA or equivalent
  • Minimum three years of working experience in professional firm and listed company is an advantage
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Putonghua
  • Able to work independently on daily correspondence and handling clients with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Pleasant, detail-orientated, well-organised and strong sense of responsibility
